Skills

Storytelling

At the city of Clearwater, I have helped create compelling stories that share the experiences and work of our community and our workers, the team behind the success of our city.

Photography

At the heart of every story is a picture that helps to tell it. Throughout my time here, I have had the opportunity to capture some of our best community moments across all ages, ethnicities, and events.

Social Media

A vital aspect in working behind the scenes at a city is being able to share important updates regarding hurricanes, upcoming events, and even the most practical events such as road closures. I have been able to help create reels and posts that help aid in the city's communication efforts with tools such as Capcut, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Canva.

CAMPAIGNS

Parks and Recreation Month

In celebration of Parks & Recs month, I was tasked with running a social media campaign for the City of Clearwater that would highlight all of our parks. Every day for the month of July, I dedicated a Facebook post that highlighted and honored one park in the city. These thoughtfully planned posts became our top Facebook posts for the Parks & Rec page for the month of July, reaching up to 37k interactions a day and many positive engagements that helped celebrate the community within these parks.

Lifeguard Day Social Media Campaign

In honor of the lifeguards of the city of Clearwater, I was tasked with highlighting our workers on the main Clearwater page and the Fire & Rescue page. I curated posts for our parks and recreation lifeguards and our Clearwater beach lifeguards. My goal was to humanize and honor them, and to show our community just how dedicated our lifeguards are in protecting the city year-round.

Curbside Pickup Launch Campaign

Due to ongoing construction in Downtown Clearwater, Clearwater's Main Library encountered a parking issue, as residents had limited spots that were blocked off. As a solution, they launched a new curbside pickup service, allowing visitors to quickly collect their library materials and return to their cars, all while staying in the comfort of their vehicles.

I was tasked with executing and promoting this campaign, which included photographing the new spots, creating an A-frame and social media graphics to post, a website page with information and rules, and a press release that would be sent out to the media.
